Placing Your Orders

Our checkout process is a simple one and the screens will walk you right through it. The first time you make a purchase from Spaceport Cutlery you'll be asked to set up your own personal account profile, which will gather your address to repeat that process on future orders. By providing your e-mail address and creating a password for yourself, you will also be able to access our Extranet to view the status of your current order, or see past orders you have placed.

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase knives from Spaceport Cutlery.

Forms of Payment

Purchases may be made with Paypal, with shipment within 24 hours or the next business day. We also accept money orders or cashier's checks (ship upon receipt) and personal checks (allow 12-14 days for shipment).

The Price You See...

...is the price you pay. We will be offering a large volume of knives on the site, and have priced them to offer good value to our customers at the prices that are marked.

We will, in some circumstances, consider trades as an option. Please see our "Looking to Sell?" page for additional information.

Another important note: In the interest of fast purchase processing, good record keeping and inventory management, we encourage you to purchase all items in the website catalog using the website shopping cart process.

We do realize that you may want additional information before you purchase - particularly in the case of investment grade or other collectible knives. We are happy to take your phone calls with questions or requests for additional information or photos. Please feel comfortable using the contact us e-mail link, as it facilitates a quick response to your questions. Once you make your purchasing decision, finalizing your purchase through our online shopping cart will also expedite the completion and shipping of your purchase.

Privacy Policy

Information that you provide to us in the purchase process is not shared with outside organizations. All credit card information is gathered and processed securely through our merchant account provider, and is used for payment transactions only. Please be assured, no credit card information is retained after your purchase is completed.

Return and Refund Policy

We guarantee that every knife sold by Spaceport Cutlery will be as described or we will gladly refund your purchase. Send us an e-mail within three (3) days of receipt and indicate the reason for return. To receive a full refund for the cost of the item, return it in as-shipped condition within ten (10) days of receipt. We insure all of our outgoing purchases, and for both your protection and ours, any returned items must be insured as well.   If you decide to return the knife because you don't care for it or have had a change of heart, there will be no refund on shipping and a 6% re-stock charge for credit card purchases.

Shipping Ivory Handled Knives

We strongly suggest that if you buy a Ivory handled knife that you have it shipped ground only. The reason is that Ivory will crack when subjected to temperature/humidity change. We will not be responsible for Ivory shipped overnight or by any method other than ground.
